Homemade "Spaghetti-O's"

Great alternative to preservative packed canned meal!

4 cups tomato juice(fresh is best if you have the means)
1/2 tsp each,  dried basil, oregano, parsley, seasoning salt
1/4 tsp each garlic powder, onion powder
3 TB butter
1/4 cup flour

For a nutrition boost add in 1/2 cup sneaky chef orange puree

1 cup milk
6 oz shredded cheddar
12 oz small pasta( I used piccolini mini wheels from Barilla for this one but whole wheat pasta is a great nutrition boost!)
salt and pepper to taste

If you want it saucier add an extra can(or 2) of tomato sauce! Just adjust seasoning accordingly.
Cook pasta according to package instructions

Melt butter over medium heat in a large pot,

add flour and mix until crumbly.

Slowly add tomato juice stirring and heating until thickened. Add seasonings and simmer for 10 minute

Add milk and pasta, then add cheese and stir gently , cover and heat through until cheese is melted.
Salt and pepper to taste...

You can add 1/2 lb ground beef, browned, seasoned to taste and drained for Spaghetti-O's and meatballs!

you can freeze this in 1/2 cup(or whatever size you prefer) servings For Easy Pull out meals!

Lots of different methods to freeze
in loosely piled scoops on a wax papered cookie sheet....freeze then wrap individually,

or in baggies
or right in small freezer to microwave containers if you have them!....

Heat in the microwave 1 minute , stir and continue heating until it is heated through...
